Dr. Ben Fadel is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa and a Neonatologist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and the Ottawa Hospital (TOH). She is currently the program director of Neonatal Hemodynamics and Targeted Echocardiography at the University of Ottawa

She holds a master’s degree in Health Professional Medical Education. She is also the program director of the International Learner Community at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine

Dr. Ben Fadel has a keen interest in studying neonatal hemodynamics. Her main research focus is on the use of TnEcho and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
